Lindsay Martell

I grew up in Portland, Oregon where my love of writing started with a book report on Emily Dickinson in seventh grade, and poems scribbled on note pads as a teenager.

 

After graduating with a degree in English from University of San Francisco, I moved to a suburb of Tokyo, where I taught ESL to students at rural high schools in Saitama, Japan.

Since then, I’ve been a web writer, a field producer, a script writer, a television reporter, and a voiceover actor.

 

In my freelance career, I’ve written for both digital and print platforms including Yahoo!, Entertainment Weekly, Next Avenue, HealthCentral, LendingTree, Autotrader, Pointe, and Dance magazine, among others.
